Short summary
We describe here the contribution of Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanolgia (INGV) to the AlpArray Seismic Network (AASN) in the framework of the AlpArray project (, a large European collaborative research initiative. The aim of AlpArray is carrying out cutting edge research to advance our understanding of the deep structure, geodynamics, tectonics and seismic hazard of the greater Alpine area (Alps-Apennines-Carpathians-Dinarides orogenic system).
